PLEASE USE THE TELEPHONE TO CANCEL LESSONS. I don’t check email every day and sometimes computers don’t work! The best way to get me in person is to call BETWEEN 8:30 A.M. AND 12:30 P.M.

POLICY FOR MAKEUP LESSONS DURING THE SUMMER:

Please do not ask for exceptions to the policy; such discussions put a strain on our relationship. 

THE SUMMER MAKEUP POLICY IS MUCH MORE LENIENT THAN DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.  I will make up a lesson for any reason during the summer IF I YOU TELL ME AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCE.  Otherwise, please be aware that I have devoted a spot in the schedule to you.  It is extremely difficult to rearrange a full schedule; I spend a large part of my summer figuring out how to accommodate changing schedules.  Please help me spend less time doing that. 

I will make-up lessons under the conditions listed below.

1) ILLNESS OR EMERGENCY:  Do not come to lessons sick.  (Private teachers have no sick-pay.) You must call me on my cell phone (please avoid texting me) the day of the lesson, before 1:00 p.m.  If you do not reach me in person, leave a voice message.

2) CONFLICTS FOR ANY REASON:  If I am notified at lease one week in advance.

3) BAD WEATHER:  Announcements will be on Eve Hubbard’s cell phone & on the website to say if lessons will be held.  If they are being held, please contact her by phone to leave a message saying whether or not you can come.

4) TEACHER ABSENCE:  Eve will makeup any lessons she cancels.

5) GROUP LESSONS will not be made up.
