WHAT: Group lesson followed by watermelon party

WHERE: Sunset Hills Neighborhood Park

WHEN: 6:00 p.m.DRESS: Whatever makes you happy!

BRING: Your usual equipment,

A music stand if you are reading music,

Any printed music in a 3-ring binder and in concert order,

Clothes pins to keep printed music from blowing,

Chairs for spectators,

Water,

Maybe bug spray,

Mon. July 28

WHAT: Group Performance

WHEN: Tune at 6:30, Play at 7:00

WHERE: Barnes & Noble Bookstore at Friendly Shopping Center

DRESS: Solid-colored top, dark bottom.  Somewhat dressy.

BRING: Violin, bow, shoulder pads.

Any music you haven't memorized, in order in a 3-ring binder.

A music stand if you are reading music.

Thur. July 31

WHAT: Group performance for a retirement community.

WHEN: Tune at 6:30, Perform at 7:00

WHERE: Friends Homes at Guilford, a retirement community at

            925 New Garden Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410

DRESS: Solid-colored top, dark bottom.  Somewhat dressy.

BRING:

Violin, bow, shoulder pads.

Any music you haven't memorized.

A music stand if you are reading music.

DIRECTIONS to Friends Home Guilford: 

Coming from the direction of downtown.

--Drive on W. Friendly Ave. until you pass Guilford College

--Right on New Garden Rd.

--Left onto Arcadia Lane. 

--Left on Ridgecrest.

--Left, into the parking lot, at the Friends Home Guilford sign.

You will be looking at Woolman Hall. Park anywhere in that lot. (You may have better luck with the parking spaces to the right as you pull in.)

--Enter at Woolman Hall (under the covered portico) through the sliding glass doors.

--Go left as you come in. Walk until you get to the elevators.

--Take elevator to 2^nd floor,

--Left when you come off elevator and the living room will be down on your right probably about 30 feet or so.
