Please use this form to give me your information.  It avoids confusion if I get all information in the same format. 

I expect all of my students to enroll for 9 weeks of study during the summer, unless more than 3 makeups are needed to accommodate vacations. Summer study is part of your original agreement with me. This is how I make my living.  If you want to count on me during the winter, I need to be able to count on you during the summer. 

--Lessons will be available both in-person and on Zoom.

To come in-person please:

1.    Send me (if you haven’t already) a picture of your up-to-date covid vaccination.

2.    Wear a face covering, such as a surgical mask, N95,KN95, KF94 or double layers of cloth.  Gators and bandanas are not sufficient.

3.    Send me your signed liability waiver and image release form for each family member who may attend lessons.  Electronic signatures accepted.

PART 1:  General info

LESSON SCHEDULE:

              —Summer lessons are Mon. June 6 through Fri. Aug. 5.      

              —A new summer master schedule will come by email and on my website around June 3.  

              —Bills will be ready by June 13.

                 A list of your individual lesson dates and times will be on your bill.

Make-up lessons: Summer is more flexible than the school year. 

              --Makeups will be given for any reason if at least a week’s notice is given.

  --PLEASE DON’T COME TO MY STUDIO IF YOU FEEL SICK IN ANY WAY.

          If you have a cold (or worse,) but feel well enough to play, we’ll have a lesson on Zoom. 

          Please telephone to let me know that we’ll be on Zoom.

              --Makeups will be given for severe illness if I am notified.

GROUP LESSONS--

Each Mon. from June 6 through Aug. 1 from 6:00 until 8:30 in Room 121.

NO GROUP ON JUNE 20 OR JULY 4.

I’d like to schedule several group performances in which we’ll play music from our Ensemble Concert and our Group Showcase Concert.  Bring your music notebooks to Group.  I’ll keep you posted about the plans.

For most Mondays, the schedule will be:

  6:00 Those learning Twinkle through Minuet 2.

  6:45 Those learning Minuet 2 through the end of Book 2.

  7:30 to 8:30 Book 3 and up.

Advanced students, please learn the duets that I will send on email.

A MORE DETAILED SCHEDULE, INCLUDING ANY CHANGES, WILL BE SENT TO YOU AFTER JUNE 6.

Group performances:  to be scheduled.  Keep your eyes peeled.

BILLS: I plan to teach 9 weeks, from Mon. June 6 through Fri. Aug. 5. You will enroll for 9 weeks unless more than 3 makeups are needed to accommodate those vacations during which remote lessons are not possible.  In that case, the lesson fee will be pro-rated. 

Making the summer bills is complicated.   I will first make the master schedule for everyone, then figure in vacations and makeups.  After that I can make bills. I plan to have bills ready by June 13.  A list of your individual lesson dates and times will be on your bill. 

MY VACATION:

--No lessons on Mon. July 4.  The building is closed for Independence Day.

--I will teach remotely on June 20.  The building is closed for Juneteenth.  

--I’ll be on vacation from Aug. 8 through Aug. 19. 

--Aug. 22 through 26 is my planning week.  (No lessons that week.)

--The Fall semester will start on Monday August 29.
